We

A
little bit about our
Club History:
The
Wegberg Practical Shooting Club was formed on January 1, 1999.
The club has 30 members from Junior to Senior age. Every year we are participating
in all matches organised by the
association (BDS). On these events our members are very
sucessful.
In
2009 we celebrated our 10th aniversary.
This
website has been designed to provide information about the Club,
and the shooting sport in general. It contains information on
how to take up shooting, the different shooting disciplines,
shooting techniques, reloading. It also acts as a point of
contact for our members.
Feel
free to browse our site using the navigation bar to the left.
We
will continue to develop a few web site in English in the
near future, so please bookmark this page and check back often.
The Shooting
Range:
The
facility can accommodate a maximum of six (6) static
shooters at one time. Should the facility be needed to train
a dynamic situational environment, where the shooter is shooting
while on the move, the distance may vary from zero to
approximately 5 metres from the target area.
The
shooting range is fully air-conditioned and includes a
filtration system, which conforms to German regulations. We use
sound control tiles and insulation for your comfort and safety.
The ceilings and walls are bullet resistant and are constructed
to ensure all bullets are trapped and do not ricochet. The
ventilation system completely filters the air every 75-seconds,
removing 99.97+% of particulates.
Each
shooting lane is 1,5m wide and 25m long.
IPSC and
other competitive events and special training classes utilize a
portion of the range for their events, using different training
devices.
